About Me
I was born in India and immigration to Canada has shaped my life and has informed my practice of therapy. I enjoy working with newcomers and those looking to work with a therapist with a first-hand experience of immigration and living as a racialized person. I hold Doctorate (Ph.D.) and Post-Graduate Diploma in Addictions and Mental Health from Humber-Guelph, Toronto. I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and have more than eight years of experience in the field of counselling with particular concentrations in clinical, research, and addictions.

Life can get difficult, and sometimes a little help from a professional Mental Health Service Provider can make things better. I care about your well-being and provide you all the tools you need in order to seize the day and learn how to tackle even the most traumatic circumstances.

My work has involved taking into account a variety of underlying reasons for anxiety, depression, addictions, trauma, grief and loss and other mental health concerns. I am enormously passionate about the work I do and hence, I believe that everything can be broken down into small and manageable steps, and even small shifts can result in significant changes. I endeavor to offer my clients compassion, hope, trust and in-depth understanding.
