Therapy

Families are dynamic system of relationships. Each member of the family has their own thoughts processes, emotions and vulnerabilities. The Family therapy is different than individual therapy in that therapists seek to understand and bring about change at the individual level and at the level of interaction (i.e. the way family members behaviour affects one another). At the individual level, each member of a family has their own values, personalities, strengths and difficulties. As family therapists, it is my job to connect with each family member as a unique person with something to contribute.
